Coordinator
Deputy Coordinator
Roland Bacon (CRAL), has ten years managerial experience as director of CRAL, but also 35 years unique experience in the design, realisation, and use of integral field spectrographs. He has been the PI of the very successful instrument MUSE at VLT.
Sofia Randich, former director of INAF-OAA, brings to the project her significant experience in the management of Galactic spectroscopic surveys (e.g., the Gaia-ESO large public spectroscopic survey) and in high-resolution MOS spectroscopy.

Project Scientist
Facility Scientist
Vincenzo Mainieri (ESO), is project scientist for the upcoming MOS at ESO (4MOST, MOSAIC, MOONS till Oct 2018). He provides to the project his long and successful experience in leading extragalactic MOS and IFS science teams.
Roelof de Jong (AIP), is PI of 4MOST, leading a large international team of engineers, software developers, and scientists. He is also head of the Milky Way and Local Volume section at AIP.

Project Manager
Telescope WP coordinator
Flora Paganelli is a multidisciplinary scientist with expertise in remote sensing of Earth and planetary bodies, space- and ground-based instruments development and management.
Philippe Dierickx has a long experience as system engineer and project manager at ESO. He is an expert in the design and production of large and very large telescopes.

Instrument Wp coordinator
David Lee (UKRI-STFC-UKATC), has extensive experience of developing instrumentation and technology for ground and space-based telescopes (MIR/JWST, MOONS/VLT, ANDES/ELT).

Operations Scientist
System engineer
Paolo Franzetti (INAF) has a long experience in data reduction and analysis software for MOS instruments (e.g., VIMOS, EUCLID, MOONS) and in spectroscopic surveys management (e.g., VIPERS, VANDELS)
Olga Bellido (AIP) lead system engineer of 4MOST and subsystem system engineer of the ELT/ANDES instrument, bringing 20 years of system engineering experience for ground- and space-based instrumentation.

System Architect
Instrument WP coordinator
Ian Bryson (UKRI-UK ATC) has over 30 years experience in astronomy instrumentation for several observatories. Working mostly as a Project Manager but with significant technical input, he has led many phase A and conceptual design (e.g., WFMOS, MOONS, EAGLE, HARMONI, VISTA).
Joel Vernet (ESO) is currently the ELT instrument project scientist and has much valuable experience as ESO instrument scientist for many MOS and IFS instruments (e.g., MUSE, MOONS, HARMONI).

Operations scientist
Project manager
Bianca Garilli (INAF) had several decade of experience in the operations of multiple VLT instruments and greatly contributed to the WST project.
Pietro Schipani, director of INAF-OAC, is very experienced in telescope design and realisation. He was the project engineer of VST and is currently the project manager of the ESO SOXS project for the NTT.
